What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is loving my kids through things I never imagined we’d face and still showing up every day. Being their safe place when life feels heavy, fighting for them, and watching their strength grow even in the hard moments it changes you. It’s not perfect, it’s not easy, but it’s real, and it’s everything to me.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson I’ve learned parenting children on the spectrum is to let go of expectations and meet them where they are. Progress doesn’t look the same, and that’s okay. I’ve learned patience, flexibility, and to celebrate the small wins. Most of all, I’ve learned that connection matters more than control, and love shows up in understanding, not perfection.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I won $20,000, I would use it to create stability for my family whether that’s putting it toward a safe, dream home or starting a business to build long-term security. I’d also want to give back by supporting other families with special needs, because I know how hard the journey can be and how much even a little help matters.
