A “super mom” isn’t perfect, it’s not about doing everything without struggle. It’s about carrying responsibility, even when you’re tired.
We would like to thank you for supporting Antoinette Turner in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
It’s seeing my children grow into their own people and realizing that the values, lessons, and love I gave them are showing up in how they treat others, how they handle challenges, and how they see themselves. Being a “super mom” means wearing a lot of hats—and wearing them with purpose. I’m a mom of two daughters, a grandma to three amazing boys, a Student Resource Officer, and a D.A.R.E. teacher.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you? When you’re doing it on your own, and being a young single mother, there’s no passing things off when you’re tired or overwhelmed. I learned how to push through, make decisions on my own, and carry responsibilities that would normally be shared. Over time, that builds a kind of strength that isn’t just about surviving, it was about leading my family with confidence with God on my side.
What would you do with $20,000?I would literally take my family to Universal Studios in Orlando Florida. My grand boys been talking about Universal Studios since they saw Jurassic Park.
