Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

To get to show your children every single day what unconditional love looks like. A kind of love that gives with no expectations of getting anything in return. A love that champions them to stand on your shoulders and to run farther than you could ever go. A love that ensures their dreams become reality. A love that becomes a safe space in a chaotic world. A love that molds them and holds them. All the while running solely on 4 hours of sleep and multiple iced coffees a day, haha!

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

In the words of Winnie the Pooh. Mother hood has taught me “that I’m braver than I believe.” Motherhood has unlocked more courage and capacity within myself than I ever knew was possible (even at 40 years old) Capacity to love, to learn, to lean on community, to create, to let go, to have fun, to soak up every moment with our precious boys. Courage to advocate for our ND kiddo, to continue to believe the impossible is possible. I’m a more complete version of myself today- because I am mom.

What would you do with $20,000?

I’ve thought about starting an autism school or some kind of added support that would give back to the neurodivergent community. $20,000 would be a great jumpstart to that dream! Annnnnd maybe save some for a little mommy glow up, too.
