Receive Text UpdatesHearing my boys talk about traditions we did/do that meant so much to them. Them telling about special memories growing up is very rewarding. Seeing my sons become adults, and grow into loving and caring fathers as well. And being there for my grandkids is like having my boys all over again.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?There is no such thing as a perfect Mom. Motherhood has definitely taught me patience. Even as they grow up you still have to have patience when they are making their own decisions and they aren’t asking for advice. We can only do our very best and pray we did enough right to matter.
What would you do with $20,000?I have stage 4 cancer so I have a lot of doctor and hospital bills that I would pay. I would fix my car so I can get to and from my chemotherapy treatments and doctor appointments. When my husband has to take off work, take me to an appointment, he doesn’t get paid. So I would pay off some small bills we have and put some money in the bank to cover the loss on his check. And last, I would get a new HVAC unit so I have heat and air and have cleaner air for my lungs where the cancer has spread.
