Being a “super mom” doesn’t mean having all the answers or living a perfect life. To me, it means showing up every single day with love.
We would like to thank you for supporting Angela Watson in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching your children grow into who they are meant to be. It’s in the small moments, the hugs, the trust, the way they turn to you for comfort. Even through challenges, there’s a deep sense of purpose and unconditional love. Knowing you’ve helped shape their heart and future is a reward greater than anything else.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is patience and unconditional love. It has shown me that growth, both theirs and mine takes time, understanding, and grace. Motherhood has taught me to listen deeply, forgive freely, and keep showing up, even when it’s hard. Most of all, it’s taught me that love is not about perfection, but about being present, supportive, and steadfast through every season.
What would you do with $20,000?If I had $20,000, I’d use it to strengthen my family’s stability and our future. Part would go toward paying off debts and covering essential needs, easing daily stress. I’d invest in my education to finish my associate degree, opening doors for more opportunities. A portion would also go toward creating special experiences with my grandchildren, moments that money can’t truly buy but will last a lifetime.
