I wouldn’t say I’m super mom. I’m just trying to do the best I can. I have a 16 year old and 13 year old with big attitudes.
We would like to thank you for supporting Angela Melancon in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
Going through all the first and watching what you have created grow into a person. Like watching 1st step and now with my 16-year-old, watching her drive. All the exciting moments. Make memories. Also, with me watching my girls with 2 totally different personalities.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Just how to be a mom. I don't know if you can pick one thing. Being a mom is a best learning experience all around. See what my mom went through and then you trying to do it yourself. How to be patience. How to care for someone other than me.
What would you do with $20,000?We would go on a family vacation out of the state of Texas. Even though I am so scared to get on a plane, my girls want to go on one so that would be another first I would get to experience. Other than going to a beach that is 4 hours away, we really have never taken a family vacation. Also, would love to put some away for my girls decide to go to college, get married, car or whatever. We have nothing saved. Living paycheck to paycheck and barely make ends meet.
