What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being told: "Thank you, Mom!", "You were right, Mom" & "You are the GOAT!" On a more serious note, it's witnessing how the values you feel are crucial to being a decent human being that embraces honesty, kindness, and diversity, become an integral part of who they are: treating each other with respect and open soul, contributing to community (like taking part in beach cleanups in Santa Monica where we live and other areas, etc.), and overall being a good friend people can rely on.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is probably to never feel you are 'above' them. Because kids can show you the way to joy you might have lost a long while back. They can help you find those 'rose-colored glasses' you thought you've lost forever. And most importantly, you learn patience. Through the thick & thin! Because without it, you won't be the GOAT, haha.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would probably take them on a trip- either to Europe or South America, to expand their world views. There is nothing more valuable than learning about other cultures and actually immersing yourself in them. I would also like to contribute some of that amount towards my sustainable clothing shop. It is a true passion of mine that I deeply care about (and we depend on it after my recent diagnosis). God know it's hard to run an independent small business!
