The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing the people my children are becoming. I’ve tried so hard to teach them to love all and show kindness while being the best they can be. It’s the small things where you can see their character and spirit starting to form. My greatest hope for them is that I’m helping them become great people.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?That as much as I try I can’t do it all and that’s ok. Dinner is a prime example. I want them to have healthy home cooked meals every night. But most nights we are juggling school, activities, homework, housework and take out or simple tacos is where we land. It’s not about what we eat but spending that time together that matters. Discussing the day and planning together.
What would you do with $20,000?I would make some home repairs (they never end), pay down some debt and take the kids on a great vacation. As a single mom, money is extremely tight so juggling where our money goes is so important. $20,000 would make a huge difference in our lives.
