What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Is knowing everything I do is for my son. I’m building a life full of love, stability, and opportunity for us. The random hugs, the “I love you, Mommy,” and the way he just wants to be close to me—those little moments remind me that I’m doing something right. To him, I’m not just his mom… I’m his safe place, his comfort, and his biggest cheerleader. Being a single mom isn’t easy, but it’s shown me a strength I didn’t know I had. That’s what makes being a mom worth it and rewarding.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me resilience, selflessness, and what truly matters. At the end of the day, it’s not about perfection or about me anymore but it’s about being present, loving deeply, and doing the best I can for my son. My priorities went away and his became my number one. My son became my number one priority.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would pay off my debt and start working toward buying a home for me and my son. I’d also set aside money in his savings so when he’s older, he’ll have a foundation for things like his first car, college, and whatever path he chooses.
