Being witness to their progress and a part of all of their memories. I love hearing “mom, remember when..” because it feels so validating to know my kiddos are enjoying their childhood & the work I put into them daily.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?That you have to almost be hyper-vigilant, but in a modest manner. You want to lead by example, but there are often barriers that may present that can definitely get you out of character & we have to rise above that.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use the money to ensure my kiddos have the tools and resources they need for success, accommodations are not always “free” especially for special kiddos. Also, because I spend so much time working and/or being an advocate for the needs of my kiddos..my needs are often unmet. I understand this comes with motherhood, but to endulge in something enjoyable for myself like a vacation (send me to a hot tub) would be a great form of self care.
