I'm a mom of 4 kids. The oldest has autism and a bunch if other medical issues. I coached my kids for years in baseball, and basketball.
We would like to thank you for supporting Amber Morton in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
Seeing my kids grow and watching them find what they are passionate about. Seeing their smiles when they have accomplished something thru have been working on. And the hugs and I love yous all the time.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you? With my oldest having Autism and other disabilities it has taught me to be kind to everyone and include everyone. Watching my younger ones advocate and stand up for their older brother and making sure he is included. And it coming full circle of them including everyone and standing up for kids in school.
What would you do with $20,000?I would buy a house that is more accessible for my oldest son. On top of being autistic he is visually impaired and has cerebral palsy. He needs a house that he can move around in better and doesn't have to do stairs. Especially since the doctors say he will be in a wheelchair full time and loose all of his vision.
