What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is showing up for my son today in anyway that I can. Learning his needs, providing both roles, watching him grow and change. We have both grown together and I think thats what makes our bond that much more stronger. I love being able to show up for him in sports,school,emotional needs and just spending quality time together even when we have nothing to do.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

I've learned patience and to be attentive. Also, As long as you show up in love and learn you are doing the next right thing by your child. I fall short many days but as long as I continue to show up for my son no matter how I am feeling that day, thats all that matters. For us its been consistency and patience with one another. I have learned to not be so hard on myself and stay open to learning about my sons needs and wants on a day to day basis.

What would you do with $20,000?

We are moving into my parents in September to try to save towards a home and get out of the renting cycle. This money would help us in that direction to own something and have a home to call our own as that has always been a dream. Also, my son recently has been diagnosed with PANDAS disease from a step infection. This has hit hard financially in some areas to get him the best care. The money would be a huge help in getting him quality care for treatments and care.
