Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is getting to do life with my children. They’re my people, and I get to walk alongside them through every season—sharing in their joy, supporting them in hard moments, and watching them grow into who they’re becoming. I’m so grateful God chose me to be their mom, and I trust Him to guide me as I love them, lead them, and build a strong, faith-filled life together.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood has taught me to depend on God’s new mercies each day and to show that same grace, patience, and love to my children as well. It’s also taught me flexibility, how to let go of perfection, and to find joy in the little, everyday moments. Raising two kids has shown me that being present, consistent, and loving matters more than getting everything right.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I won the $20,000, we’d use it as a down payment on a home for our family. We currently rent a small two-bedroom, and our kids share a room. It works, and our home is full of love but we’d really love a space of our own where each of them can have their own room. It would be such a blessing to us, and also give us the ability to be a blessing to others through hospitality. A place where we can keep building our life together and continue serving the Lord as a family.
