I’m a super mom because I show up with love every day, support my kids’ passions, stay strong through stress, and keep my family grounded.
We would like to thank you for supporting Amber Barrett in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my kids grow into kind, capable people and knowing I helped shape that. It’s the little moments, like when they come to me for comfort or show kindness, that mean the most. Being their safe place and seeing who they’re becoming makes everything worth it.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is patience and letting go of control. You can guide and support your kids, but you can’t control everything. It’s taught me to be more present, flexible, and to appreciate the little moments, because they grow up faster than you expect.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use the $20,000 to create stability for my family by paying down bills and setting some aside for savings. I’d also invest a portion in experiences with my kids, like travel or activities, and put some toward their future. It would be about reducing stress now, and having a little fun while building security for later.
