We would like to thank you for supporting Amanda Schroeder in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my kids become who they’re meant to be, seeing their confidence grow and their personalities develop, and knowing I have a role in shaping that. It’s in the small moments and the big ones, when they feel safe, loved, and capable. That sense of impact and connection is unmatched.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me that control is an illusion and presence is everything. I can’t script outcomes, but I can show up consistently with patience, clarity, and love. It’s pushed me to grow alongside my kids, to lead with intention, and to model the kind of resilience and character I hope they carry forward.
What would you do with $20,000?I would invest it back into our home so it better supports our family. Creating spaces where each of my kids has a place to call their own, along with shared areas that bring us together, would make a meaningful impact on how we live day to day. It’s about building an environment where everyone feels comfortable, supported, and at home.
