We would like to thank you for supporting Amanda Schneck in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Teaching my children valuable life lessons and watching them apply them. My youngest son has apraxia of speech and couldn’t talk for awhile so watching his growth has been amazing. Being responsible for 5 humans and knowing that they are each a part of me and we have that forever bond.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Prior to motherhood I was very easy going and go with the flow. I have now learned more patience and instead of “go with the flow” it’s more about being flexible and doing what’s best in that moment for your children. Things don’t always go as planned and children are unpredictable and you have to roll with the punches in those moments.

What would you do with $20,000?

I wish I could say something extremely fun however being a family of 7 we have a lot of debt so much of this money would go into our banking accounts to help set up future endeavors for our children ( car, college, etc). We would also like to invest and start up a new business that promotes more opportunities for girls athletes and all girl clubs.
