Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

When I see our daughters choose kindness and compassion, I know the sacrifices we are making to raise them as we are choosing is worth it. Teaching them all to read has been one of the greatest joys and honors of my life. Watching them develop into the cool humans they are and are becoming is such a cool gift!

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

We are never done learning. It is a tremendous gift and privilege to get to learn and grow alongside our children. With the birth of each of our daughters, I have welcomed a new version of myself. As I mother our daughters, I have also learned to mother myself in new ways. What a gift that we get to grow with our children.

What would you do with $20,000?

I am working diligently to pay off my student loan debt. I became a therapist after tragically losing my dad & sister in a car accident. I wish to support others & help them navigate grief after experiencing such devastating loss. Home educating is a great joy, but the pay is lousy. We had to sacrifice our ability to pay back my loans like we would like to do. The interest has grown almost as fast as our children. I hope to pay off this debt to gift our family financial freedom & security.
