What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?To be patient. I have not always been patient but parenting (especially and special needs child) and teaching special education have taught me this valuable lesson. I have learned to ask questions and not make assumptions. And that everyone deals with stress in different ways. You have to learn how they deal with things and help them to deal with all the things life throws at them.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use some of the money for a family vacation. I would love for my kids to be able to experience a cruise and to see other countries. The rest would be used to make some much needed home improvements. Our home was built in 1910 and could use some updates.
