What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I can't really pick just one singular thing! Watching my kids learn and do new things each and every day is truly a blessing. Being a part of each and every one of their milestones is very rewarding and important to me! Molding them into good humans and watching them do selfless things for other people really makes me proud. Ultimately, seeing them become successful in all phases of life would also be extremely rewarding!

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

I think one of the biggest lessons I've learned from motherhood is resilience. There are many days where mothers are just exhausted and you just don't have the luxury to take days off. You have to buckle up and do what's needed for your child. Another lesson it has taught me is that you have to be selfless to be a mom. You always have to put your children first no matter if you are sick, tired, in pain (I have an autoimmune disease and I'm in chronic pain, etc.).

What would you do with $20,000?

First, I would set aside some $ so my husband, our children, and I could take a vacation this summer. Since we first started having children, we've only had a chance to take one. We drove to Myrtle Beach and got there two 4 hours before hurricane Debbie hit. We sat there for two days in a hurricane and then drove back home (12 hours). It would be really nice to give the children something to look forward to! Then, I would pay off some debt so that my husband wouldn't have to work out of town!
