Being able to see how excited they get over their accomplishments. Watching them work hard and get excited when they get good grades or hitting that goal on learning how to do something they wanted to learn. The sparkle in their eye makes you feel like you’ve done something right. When they’re crossed with a hard decision (peer pressure) and they come out of it making the right choice. You know they’ve learnt right from wrong and that I will allows be in their corner no matter what.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Patience. Having a daughter is like going back in time and watching a part of yourself growing up again. I think allowing yourself to remember that you used to be a kid too allows you to have patience with their own experiences.
What would you do with $20,000?Both my kids have started being involved in sports which is extremely expensive my son football and my daughter hockey. Being off work injured and not being allowed to work to give them what they both want has caused a lot of financial hardship. I would also take most of it and put it in their RESP for school so that they have a bit of something for their future.
