The rewards are still coming, she will be 21 in a few days but watching her live her life is amazing. The commitment she has to whatever she has infront of her is so impressive. The compassion she has for others is never ending, she was raised to the mindset of you never know what has made others the way they are good or bad. She has struggled with anxiety and has not let it dictate her life. There are no words to express how very proud she makes me.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?I learned early that if I truly wanted her to know she could come to me no matter what, that there would be things I didnt want to hear but had to listen without any kind of negative reaction. I wanted the lines of communication open 100%. There were times I wanted to plug my ears but she depended on me not too. She also deserved my attention to anything she needed to say, and my understanding, not punishments or anger. I always made sure she clearly understood any discipline she recieved.
What would you do with $20,000?I would take my mother, the worlds best, and my daughter on a vacation of a lifetime.
