Watching my kids grow into the little women and man that they are meant to be. Teaching them how to be well mannered, kind, generous and thoughtful to others. Seeing my little man treat people/girls with respect and kindness. Seeing my girls go through life with grace, independence and thoughtfulness. Is truly a sight to be seen. Watching Every step of their lives is a reward of who they are becoming.

When both of my daughters were in a head on car collision in February 2020, this was any mother’s worst nightmare. My son was only 3 months old, he grew up in children’s hospital of Winnipeg for 8 months. We had our world we knew change in a day. Amaya would never walk again. Now if I could change this day I would but I can’t. I am grateful for the accident, my family is so strong because of it. Nightmares can happen but it’s about how you get through the storm that will define you.

I have always wanted to write a book of our families story, it would be a beautiful heart wrenching book that could be a great movie. Now those are dreams. This money could help me get that book started. My kids have always wanted us to have a camping van. Every summer we spend 2-3 weeks in Ontario tent camping, we borrowed my in-laws camping van last year and it has now given our family memories of a lifetime. I want our own.
