What I believe that makes me a super mom is nothing. I’m just a mom who has two rambunctious boys, who just needs someone to just show up.
We would like to thank you for supporting Alley Van Haaften in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
The most rewarding thing is being a mom. A woman who has struggled with infertility due to PCOS, just having children is a blessing and reward in itself. I have my days like any other mother in this world but at the end of the day my children will always be my BIGGEST accomplishment and reward. HANDS DOWN!
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?My biggest lesson so far in motherhood has taught me is just being the best version of myself for my kids, even though there are days I mentally and physically can’t be. I still show up. I know that’s so cliche but it’s true. Before having kids I could be however I wanted to be. Now, with two kiddos, I can’t. I need to show them how strong I can be for myself and for them. Wouldn’t change that for the world. It pushes me to my fullest.
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly…what I would do with the $20,000 is invest the money for my children so when they become adults, the money that has been made over the years it would be split between them two. It’ll get them on the right track in life whether that be they decide to go to college or not. They have that cushion for them. But would also teach them to continue investing in that money.
