The most rewarding part is witnessing the world through my children’s eyes and knowing I am building a legacy for them. Whether it’s seeing my toddler’s excitement with her friends or nursing my infant after a long day of running my renovation company, those moments of pure connection remind me why I work so hard. I love teaching them that they can be anything—strong, creative, and kind.

Motherhood has taught me the true meaning of resilience and the art of the "pivot." In construction, things rarely go exactly to plan, and the same is true with a toddler and a newborn! I’ve learned to balance the grit required to run an S-corp with the grace needed to nurture my babies. It has taught me that I am capable of far more than I ever imagined, especially when fueled by love (and a good smoothie).

I would invest this into our family’s future and our community. A portion would go toward expanding my business, Daily Service Solutions Inc., to better serve our neighbors’ homes. I’d also use it to create an even more sustainable "from-scratch" environment for my kids—perhaps expanding our little farm for the chicks and dogs. Most importantly, it would provide a safety net to ensure my children have every opportunity to learn and grow.
