What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Having the ability to watch my children one by one be successful in their own lives. My three boys are grown and have made their way in life thus far. One is currently serving in the United States Air Force and followed in his upbringing. I am blessed beyond means daily to watch my two youngest girls blossom and flourish into strong individuals who value work ethic and follow their spiritual paths. I am humbled daily to look on this hard, but none the less, most rewarding journey with my husband

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

My biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is to never take the little moment for granite. Listen even when you are tired. What we feel isn’t a huge deal to us might be the biggest deal (at the moment) to our children. This ultimately shapes their mindset and forms bonds you can only imagine. Times are and will be tough. Saying I love you everyday and teaching that The words “I cant” isn’t an option but rather “I’ll try” can move mountains.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would love more than anything in the entire world to have all five of my children, husband and I to take a vacation together. My family is so very important to me and raising them on military pay was a struggle to no avail. There wasn’t many vacations at all. However, given this blessing and opportunity could make a lifetime memory that I will forever hold on to and treasure deeply. Being all together and in the same place would be my biggest wish come true.
