Watching my 2 children be kind and accepting of others. They are social, curious, and loving. To see those qualities develop deeper within the relationships that they form has been amazing. They are incredibly brave humans who are doing things (dancing on stage) that I never had the courage for. They have pushed me to do uncomfortable things like join my dtr's middle school PTO, eventually becoming the treasurer, a position I've held for 3 years. The latest is becoming a soccer coach

Honestly, it's been to expect the unexpected. Living in the moment and making the best of each situation has been an extremely humbling and tough lesson that I continue to work on daily. Lastly, it wasn't until becoming a mother that I learned how to love unconditionally no matter how hard life was.

I plan to donate a portion to the Children's Hospital in Omaha, NE. They played an integral part of our lives as brand-new parents when our dtr was ill at 5 months old. Had it not been for Children’s Hospital, our lives may have looked very different. So this is deeply personal for me. Selfishly, I've wanted new countertops/backsplash in my kitchen for a long time. As we've prioritized our kids and their activities over my wants, the countertops have had to wait.
