Aley Caltagirone

I workout and really focus on self care while parenting a little one. I also have a part time job, horseback ride and run 5ks.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Honestly there is so much to it. We are shaping the minds of little ones while still trying to figure it all out. So I would say the best part is showing people that I can do that even though I am only 26. My son means everything to me, ever since he was born I’ve wanted nothing but the best for him.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

That there is no “village” it’s just you, your baby, and your husband. It is overwhelming at first to take it all on at once but once you do it becomes your life. We are all made to watch the kids, pack their lunch, get them to a soccer practice etc. I don’t think some people see how hard we work every day.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would put as much as possible away for my son, then with whatever is left, I would put it towards building our dream home.
