Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I think the most rewarding part of being a mom is the “I love you mommy” I get as they are falling asleep at the end of the day. The smiles I get when they are running to me at pick up from school and the laughs we have during our Friday night dance parties. My kids are amazing and I am so blessed to be their mommy.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

There is always room to grow and something new to learn everyday. Since every moment of motherhood is different, you learn to adapt and do your best to accommodate your child and what they need. There is always room for more love and compassion even when you are exhausted or overwhelmed (even though it is difficult sometimes). I can only be better by listening and showing them the right way they deserve to be treated.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would add on an additional room to our house so my six year old son could have his own space for when he just needs some time for himself (sometime he wants a quick break from his 3 year old sister). If I couldn’t do that I would take my kids on a road trip to all the national parks in an RV! We love to be outside visiting the mountains, springs or and our local parks.
