Being a “super mom” isn’t about being perfect, it’s about how you show up every single day, especially when it’s hard. Making memories
We would like to thank you for supporting Alexis Daigle in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
It’s seeing your child grow into their own person and knowing you helped shape that. The way they learn something new, say something unexpectedly kind, or come to you for comfort—those moments hit deep because they reflect the love and guidance you’ve given.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood tends to teach one lesson louder than anything else: you can’t control everything, and you don’t need to. It also teaches you a deeper kind of selflessness, but not in a “lose yourself” way. More like learning balance, how to give so much love while still taking care of yourself, because your well-being affects them too.
What would you do with $20,000?I wouldn’t treat $20,000 like a quick spending opportunity, I’d treat it like a chance to create stability and breathing room for me and my kids. First, make sure we are protected, building an emergency fund (3–6 months of basic expenses) is huge. Life with kids can get unpredictable fast I’d absolutely set aside a small portion for something that brings us joy or relief. Burnout is real, and we deserve something that makes our life easier or happier.
