What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Deal with your own stuff. Kids trigger all of it. You can’t be the best parent you can be if you don’t tackle your own stuff first.
What would you do with $20,000?Finish the sensory room/playroom. With one child with adhd and another with (most likely) autism we need a space for the kids to regulate themselves. We need space for both sensory input and avoidance. We have managed to carve out a great space for them, but have yet to finish it fully with the tools they could use.
