What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Seeing all of them grow and learn new things. For my little NICU twins, even the smallest victories like gaining weight or tolerating their feeds well gives me so much pride. For my older two, watching them try new sports, being kind to others, learning at school and watching their imaginations unfold. Truly amazes me and makes me so happy that I get to be their Mom. I love getting to see their personalities take shape as they get older and seeing the world through their eyes.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

To be patient and slow down. I want to make the most of the time I have with them when they are little. I have come to realize that they only get one childhood and it’s my job to make it beautiful/amazing/fun. My husband and I both work extremely hard to give them the childhood they deserve. Motherhood has also shaped me into the strongest version of myself. Working full time, running marathons, eating healthy, keeping a clean and organized home. I try to lead by example to raise strong girls.

What would you do with $20,000?

$20,000 would help me tremendously with NICU/medical expenses. I am on unpaid maternity leave, so the money would allow me to focus on my babies without the financial stress. I would also put some money into all of their savings accounts and definitely would love to give back to other NICU families in need.
