Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is being able to see my love take a tangible form through my three sons. When I see the love and care they give to each other or extended family members or their teachers, I feel so fulfilled in knowing that I am filling their cups in such a way that it can overflow into others. It is such a gift to raise boys and there is a delicacy and balance to that; it is so rewarding when you see it in your children’s hearts.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that grace and love are endless. When my children were young, and I mean 3 under 1 YOUNG, it was very difficult to see the light and grace of motherhood. I learned very quickly that motherhood is not for the weak and that we are all built to be mothers and it is what we do with that gift and how we handle. I coach myself all day every day to lead with grace and love. I am now able to apply this lesson to my own friendships and work relationships.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use this money toward a down payment for a home for my family. All I want for my children is to have the safe space indoors and outdoors to play and run and truly enjoy their childhood. I dream of giving them a backyard that will provide them with just a little bit of space to move the way they want and need to. A home that we can truly grow in as a family.
