Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Her laughter! Seemed impossible for almost a year to see her smile… and one day, it simply happened. With all her sensory issues, challenges and triggers, her broad smile brings tears of joy to my heart, and a full sense of “Good job, momma”!

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Humility! I have done all I could find possible, sometimes maybe even too much. And every milestone of my girl has made me humble to the grace of God and HIS infinite compassion! My girl has made me grow as a human being, and being her mom has been the best accomplishment of my life! I learned that everything falls in place at its due time. She has taught me so much of love, patience, trust and resilience. I would not change anything and would do it again!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would place it in a custodial account for her future use, as she intends to pursue a career in Music Education. Another option would be to finally get her a very much wanted grand piano! My daughter has educational challenges related to Autism, so creating a strong group of labor skills is a smart approach. Therefore, saving any large fund towards the creating of a system of support for her future business is not a crazy idea. She wants to create a school of music for kids in The Spectrum!
