A super mom takes care of herself to take care of the others yet she never puts herself first.
We would like to thank you for supporting Adriana Grigoriev in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Children’s Miracle Network® and their mission to provide life-saving care and improve the health of children across the country.
Your life purpose is fulfilled. You no longer try to prove yourself as much as you did before having a child. Your job takes a secondary place and no longer needs to fill the gap because at home all that matters is waiting with wide arms open. To me, taking care of my child every day and making sure that I provide the necessary safety and love equals a healing feeling. It grounds me and fills me with more courage and strength to be a better person and lead by example.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you? That we are pure biology. That nature's intelligence thinks for us and solves the mystery of life. We have to follow more the instincts and respond less with fear born from logic. Giving birth is power not a clinical condition - with all the respect for modern medicine. That once we enter the mystical world of delivering a baby, nature equips us with the strength, we just have to trust more that all will be well. That faith and hope are the driving forces.
What would you do with $20,000?I would help my own mother who lives in a country bordering another country in a war zone. I would make sure she feels safe - a natural way to respond with a thank you for the life she gave me. My mother did everything was in her power to give my sister and I the tools to be able to choose for ourselves and be independent. It's empowering to be able to be by her side when the world is shaking.
