What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I get the privilege of shaping the next generation to be an army for the Lord. We have 3 kids now but would love to have so many more. We love children. Getting to watch them grow and learn new things about God & His world has been the biggest blessing. I just love watching each baby grow into their personality and become another sweet addition to our family.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Humility and patience, for sure. Motherhood can be a pretty thankless job. You give a lot of yourself to little ones who don’t know the first thing of what sacrifices you made to give them the life they have. That is not to say it’s NOT worth it. It is SO worth it! But it’s definitely humbling as well. Being a mother teaches me patience daily. Each day around my littles gives multiple opportunities for me to grow in patience in how I relate to and teach them.

What would you do with $20,000?

It may sound silly, but I’d love to pay off all our debt. I am very practical. I generally don’t spend money where it’s not needed. I’d love to get our debt paid off so that we don’t have to keep paying interest on something that just sits at the same amount because all we are able to pay is simply the interest itself. My hubby works 2 jobs (& other side gigs) to make ends meet for us so that I can stay home and devote all my time to our kids. This money would bless our family so much!
