Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

My motto is “laugh thru the tears!” I am a giver, even when I don’t have anything left to give. I love my 6 kids, grandkids, Godchildren, cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends that have become family, more than anything in the world. My 2nd daughter lost her twin babies in 2023, my 3rd eldest was diagnosed with cancer in 2024, and this is just a lil bit of what we’ve faced recently. Their smiles and ability to get through is what is the most rewarding part for me.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

A memory with my kids that I will never forget is when we had our son. After 5 daughters, we finally had our boy. The girls were sooo happy with him. There were laughter and tears and so many mommy’s to help care for my only boy.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would pay BILLS, BILLS, BILLS!!! My daughter, Nadaline, is on her last few rounds of chemo and the bills have been piling up. Nadaline is grad from HS this year and our son is graduating elementary. Our twin girls have just celebrated jr prom. So you know $$. I work from home, stopped working For months due to several admissions and long hospital stays. I live at home with my 5 kids, 1 granddaughter, and my mother as well. Four generations& NO privacy! My husband & I NEED the trip to Napa!!!
