Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

There is so much I could say but the most rewarding part of being a mom is witnessing my daughter become an amazing human being with thoughts / feelings that she expresses so eloquently. She shocks me with how intuitive and kind she is. It gives me the validation that I am doing something right because parenthood is absolutely a combo trial, error & love! There’s moments where she says things to that I didn’t know I needed to hear. I can learn from her as she learns from me. It’s the best part!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

A few months ago I was out with my daughter for a play date. When we returned to my car it had been broken into & items stolen. I was in so much shock. Crying, trying to figure out what to do. She held my face and looked at me so sweetly & said “Don’t cry mommy. It’ll be ok”. She’s only 3 but in that moment she was taking care of me. I will never forget how she brought love & calmness to a traumatic situation.

What would you do with $20,000?

I started my own brand that focuses on plant-based lifestyle / education as well as create hand-made products to encourage people to prioritize self-care in a healthy & eco-friendly way. As a single mom it’s been hard to balance work, parenthood & entrepreneurship. $20,000 would be so helpful for me to propel my business that I hope to pass down to my daughter creating generational wealth. I want to open a space where I can sell my products & host enriching community events.
