Single mom of two amazing boys. And have been doing it in my own since I was 18 years old. Wouldn’t change a thing
We would like to thank you for supporting Yuisa De Leon in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
I have been lucky enough to have experienced being a teen and now an older mom. Being able to appreciate the difference is one highlight. Having the luxury of seeing them grow everyday and seeing how smart they are in the early stages and seeing one become an adult has felt AMAZING. I wouldn’t change a thing!
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One core memory of my oldest is when he was 5 years old and we were sitting down watching a movie in my first apartment moving on our own. It was a studio apartment. We were eating popcorn and my son licked his hand and wiped my face with his hand. Then continued to watch the movie as if nothing happened. We talk about that moment constantly. My youngest so far one memory was him coming into the world 6 weeks early and the first thing he did was look at me and smile. I will never forget that!
What would you do with $20,000?I want to say I will open up savings accounts for both boys and pay off some debt. But if I’m being honest. I will most likely use this for housing stability. Use it as a down payment for a home and set my boys up so they will never have to worry about their living circumstances ever again in their lives.
