Yas'meen Prince

I am a Super Mom because as I’m still learning and growing with my adversities in life everyday, I aim to give 100 percent to my kids daily.

We would like to thank you for supporting Yas'meen Prince in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part about being a mother is first watching them grow, so cliche, but also being able to make impact on my children and with them our community. I believe that all children desire love because I know that some are unfortunate to have the experience.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory I will never forget is being a single mother as a Drill Sergeant in the United States Army. This memory is impactful because working 15 hours plus or more in a day, I realized the true meaning of time and having a village to raise a child. I had to be vulnerable with myself by making trust worthy friends at a new unit. Also my daughter had to bear the sacrifice of leaving me everyday and some nights for me to potentially not come home.

What would you do with $20,000?

With 20,000 dollars I would pay off debt, donate funds to mother and children charities, and ultimately provide my children with a better life. I recently had a baby in February of 2025, so now I have two children.
