What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Watching my kids grow up and reach all of their milestones, knowing that they are a reflection of who I am which helps keep me grounded and always making decisions based on what is best for them.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

The first day they were each placed in my home, how the day went by so quickly and before I knew it, it was bedtime. I rocked them to sleep while I sang Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. I knew in that moment that every struggle, every tear, every setback with infertility was worth it because it did not matter that they didn’t grow inside of me, that they did not look like me; what mattered was that I was chosen to love them and there was nothing in this world I would not do for them.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use a portion to put as a down payment for a house and take my kids on a vacation- probably a cruise to the Caribbean because my son is obsessed with cruise ships.
