Being a super mom means caring for my kids while staying true to myself—because kids learn best from what they see.
We would like to thank you for supporting Whitney in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is knowing you’re the most important person in their world. Whether it’s being the first one they want to share a new discovery with, the one they run to when they get a little ‘owie,’ or just seeing the pure excitement on their face when you walk through the door—it’s an unmatched feeling. It’s such a special, irreplaceable role to hold in someone’s life.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One memory I’ll never forget is the little talent shows my kids put on at home. They love hiding in the front closet until their Dad and I call their names to the ‘stage,’ and then they burst out with the most energetic, confident performances. Watching them express themselves so freely—and seeing their personalities grow and change over time—is truly amazing.
What would you do with $20,000?Wow. $20,000? Honestly—after breastfeeding for four years, there’s definitely one stop I’d be making just for me! But in all seriousness, I’d finally be able to find a home for our family. A place with a backyard where my son and daughter can run around and play—that would be the dream. I’d also donate to the Milwaukee Diaper Mission, a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart
