My girls’ dad left in ‘15 and I worked 3 jobs, finished my grad degree all to show my girls no matter what life gives they are capable!
We would like to thank you for supporting Victoria Stanley in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
There’s so many! But, seeing my girls thrive, confident in their own skin (tough in today’s world!), they’re both in gifted and talented programs at school. So ultimately, knowing that my desire is to show them they are capable young ladies and watching them feel, see and live that out is incredible!
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? When their dad left we moved in with my parents. My mom died in 3 months from colon cancer 2 years after we moved in. My oldest was 5 my youngest was 3. In the days following her passing, my oldest tried several times to make breakfast for me with fruit and veggies we had in the fridge because she “knew I missed my mommy”. Her heart shone so bright that day and I’ll never forget that!
What would you do with $20,000?Pay off debt! Or, put a down payment on a house for my dad to be able to live near us again. My girls gravitated towards my dad when my mom died and work moved me. He’s been trying to relocate near us, I’d love to be in a position to help him! For both his sake and my girls’.
