Watching my children grow as healed, whole young adults is the greatest joy in my life. They are my greatest accomplishment.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?When I graduated my Bachelor’s of Nursing program and they told me how proud they were and how appreciative they are of the example I set for them. This was monumental for me because as single parents, we often feel unappreciated and taken for granted. It made me realize that I touch them more than I think I do.
What would you do with $20,000?As most single moms, paying bills is always the first thing that comes to mind but I asked my kids and they want to take a trip. They aren’t sure where, but I will definitely take them wherever they want to go. I often feel overwhelmed and overstimulated but in my children I find peace. They’re laughs, smiles, and happiness is my reward for all of the stuggles.
