Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I love that most of the things your children learn are from you. The most interesting part of that is seeing their reactions. As a mom you get to see the world through their eyes. It’s like experiencing the world for the FIRST time all over again.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I remember vividly both of my children laughing for the first time. My husband and I bond over laughter. Seeing them laugh is everything to me. Laughter is medicine for life…it fuels me to hear them laugh.

What would you do with $20,000?

I gave up my career as a Histotechnician in May 2020 due to Covid. We moved away from home after college, therefore we don’t have family around. During Covid daycare was closed. I was working 12 hour days and my husband was working from home. It simply was not working. It was a huge sacrifice, but I wouldn’t trade being a stay at home mom for the world. I would spend the money toward a down payment on a bigger house. I would love for my children to have a playroom!
