The most rewarding part of being a mom is the deep, unconditional bond you build with your child. Watching them grow, learn, and become their own person—knowing you had a hand in shaping that—brings a kind of joy and fulfillment that’s hard to describe. It’s in the little moments: a spontaneous hug, a proud “look what I did,” or the way they seek you out for comfort. There’s something powerful about being someone’s safe place.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I would have to say it’s the first unprotected “I love you”, or the look on their faces Christmas morning when “Santa” arrived, even though it was a tough year and I was struggling to make ends meet. When they said “Mom, this is the best Christmas, I got everything I always wanted”. I knew I did good!
