What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is knowing that my girls are safe, happy, and thriving. They are growing and learning new things everyday. They teach ME things that I tend to forget. They remind me of the important parts of life. They remind me to pause, breathe, reflect. To take in every situation as if it’s the most important task on my list of what seems like a million things to cover for the day. Their curiosity of life is contagious. Their smiles and laughs make everything worth it.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

My oldest told me once that she and her sister are NOT in charge of MY feelings. That made me stop in my tracks to reflect on everything I’ve done up until that moment. It changed my mind on how I wanted to present myself for them. It made me want to change for the better and give the best version of myself to them. My youngest came out to the world on HER own terms and HER own time. Literally. Like a bullet. It showed me her character from birth and it inspired me to be as bold and fierce too.

What would you do with $20,000?

Wow. That amount would change wonders for me. I’d get to pay off debt that will help me BREATHE. It would help me relax to where I can spend some REAL quality time with my girls. Unfortunately, money has been my biggest concern and I no longer want it to control my world, my energy, my emotions. I would also use a small portion of that towards my babies and myself. Our first nice spa day together like I’ve dreamed of since having my girls. The rest can go towards savings and their future.
