Hi I'm Valen Wilson & I feel that I'm a super mom because I took a leap of faith and moved to an entire different state with my boys. OH>CA
We would like to thank you for supporting Valen Wilson in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
For me, the most rewarding part of being a mom has been to recognize the value of life. If you gain one thing from motherhood, it's patience. I used to be a super anxious person, working multiple jobs, always rushing to my next goal. Being a mom has humbled me to really enjoying each day and taking things all in day by day. I love every moment my little's & I have to just enjoy life. You really start to appreciate the little things.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? My oldest son Santiago is high functioning Autistic, on thanksgiving this year he was jumping on the bed and randomly sang out "Mom brother... Gio" (Gio is his little brother) he never talks really, and so far, that's the moment my heart went into my stomach. Early intervention has been a roller coaster for us & to hear him say any words at all makes me the happiest person on this earth.
What would you do with $20,000?I would put some of it back into the charity, I'm more of a giver than I am a receiver, so I definitely would like to show my appreciation if I am lucky enough to win. And I would use $10,000 to sit into an account for a group home for my agency business living beyond limits LLC
