No matter what I face, I make a way for my daughter giving her all I lacked growing up, and painting beauty from my pain.
We would like to thank you for supporting Tyshayla Pillow in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my daughter grow into herself. Her happiness, smile, and unapologetic spirit are all I could ever ask for.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? When my daughter was about three, I was going through a lot and could barely get out of bed. She came to me and said, “Mommy, I know you’re sad, but you gotta just get up, turn the light on, and work.” From that moment on, I vowed to give her the world. This moment sticks with me because it was the first time I realized how strong she was.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, I would continue investing in my daughter. She dances competitively now, but she dreams of learning piano to play at my future wedding. She’s never been on a real vacation, so I’d use the money to finally show her what that joy feels like
