Whew! As a new mommy, I have to balance work, college again, being a fiancé, and being me! It’s a daily challenge but I pivot through.
We would like to thank you for supporting Trinity Hicks in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Being a first time mom has been challenging but the reward of it all is simply looking at my baby. It’s knowing that there is an unconditional, unexplainable love that I have never experienced before. Through the difficulty, it’s a certain happiness from hugging and kissing her. It’s the little things, the first times, the milestones. The new drive I have for life that I have to well because I have a human dependent on me to be great so that they can be great.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? This is a tough question! I won’t forget the first time my daughter laughed and sound came out. I think I might have called everyone I know to tell them my baby is laughing and she might be the only person to think I’m funny. I said that joke over and over again and laughed every time. It made me feel good.
What would you do with $20,000?I would start the process with of buying a home for my little family. My fiance had an opportunity in Chicago so we moved there. When I found out I was pregnant, I didn’t want to be away from my mom anymore so I was sad for a while but he then got an opportunity to move back home. We had to move within a week so the 3 of us and our 3 pets have been living in a tiny apartment. It’s just not enough space and no place to continue to raise our daughter. I want her to have the best
