My husband is in the military and is often gone for 12months+ at a time. Naturally, that makes me a SAHM of 2 under 3! (:
We would like to thank you for supporting Trinity Bailey in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
I’d say seeing my parenting shine through and reflect from my children. The best example i can give is the way my 2 year old will console me when i am either sad, frustrated, upset, etc. He will sing me a sweet song and give me TONS of kisses and hugs, as i would do for him! He will communicate to me when he is frustrated, mad, or sad. It’s such an amazing feeling knowing I raised and molded him to work through his emotions instead of letting them overwhelm him to the point of no return.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? When my husband got home from tech school. The look on my oldest’s face when he saw his dad again after months of not seeing him when he used to be with him every single day… it still brings tears to my eyes. It is a feeling that he will unfortunately have to endure and one day my youngest will too but we are a unit and will stay strong together.
What would you do with $20,000?I would buy a car for me and my kids. When i am solo parenting my children, i can’t work because daycare would basically take my entire check if i did, so in our eyes it’s kind of pointless. i currently have to take either carriers to get somewhere close or the subway if i want to go to walmart, target, etc. and bringing them with me is not only a hassle, as they’re both very young, but a risk. The world has become a very scary place for people. I wish luck to everyone!
